Athletic Ministries at Wooster Church are multi-faceted. The largest participation is in summer softball teams (3 men’s, 1 women’s). These teams are comprised of adults 18 years of age and older with approximately 40 men and 18 women participating this past year. The teams played in the months of June and July with tournaments in August. During the winter months, a 5 on 5 Basketball league is held ages 18 and older playing on Monday evenings. Sign up during the open gym times. The gym is open on Monday and Wednesday nights to prepare for the basketball season. Hit the Home Tab and check out the upcoming events section for more information. Teenaged boys and girls participate in volleyball practice on various nights of the week with a special tournament scheduled for February. Over 60 teens play volleyball. In May we will be having our annual pinewood derby. Last year we had over 125 cars registered. Wait for the announcements and we'll see you there. All ages can be involved! The Athletic ministry leadership team is comprised of 8 individuals who also plan special events such as All Church Bowling nights and ping pong tournaments at various times throughout the year.
